Across the Board Game Café is a great spot with a nice ambiance and a wide variety of games to play for $10 plus tax. We tried a cappuccino and a strawberry vanilla milkshake, both of which were good. For food, we had the grilled cheese, which was okay, and the potato wedges, which were tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the overall experience enjoyable.
I love across the board! It’s such a fun place to chill and meet up with people! The ambiance is very cozy and aesthetic with nice view of the city and the beautiful chandeliers. I love the concept of playing board games at a coffee shop!! I love everything except the variety of drinks you can get, it’s a good variety but I’d like more!
Great place to hang out! The food is delicious, and the portion sizes are perfect for sharing. Great selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. I really enjoy the vibe here.
Had no idea that you needed a reservation and they were all booked up so you need to prepare in advance. Their D&D nights sell out incredibly fast too. Good selection of games and I got a cool set of dice for only $7. The sticker price was inaccurate though, they charged me near double and the taxes were still applied so a $50 purchase became $80.
What a great place! They are open until pretty late (as compared to other places around), the coffee and other drinks are delicious (tried the recent addition - the eggnog and it was also great), the food is always fresh and delicious (tried a couple of sweet and savory options), there is also popcorn and other snacks available as the place offers hundreds of board games to play (for just 10 cad per adult). It sometimes may get a bit noisy, though (because of players). Other than that, it's a really good place for a date, friends meeting or a family gathering. ETA: cocktails and cheese&spinach dip with nachos were also awesome!
We are a licensed, full service restaurant and coffee house that provides patrons the opportunity to play our library of over 1200 board games.
