I am expecting my first baby and I booked Babymoon's moonbeam package and had my appointment with Chandra last week. I was excited to see what Babymoon had to offer and by that time, I was 33 weeks so I was hoping to see a glimpse of my baby girl.
My first impression of Chandra was not great. I'm unfamiliar with the technology of ultrasounds especially what 2D, 3D, and 4D has to offer and I asked the tech if I had booked the right service because I thought I had accidentally booked a regular 2D session (not knowing that the 3D actually function is something the tech switches into after seeing it in 2D first). Right off the hop, her demeanor was rude - She didn't clarify anything for me nor did she let me know what to expect on the monitor. Her words were "I don't know what you're asking, it's just a screen".
For context, I have an anterior placenta and we weren't able to see my girl much because of it and because she was a bit shy sleeping with her hands covering half of her face but Chandra did offer me chocolate and other techniques to try to wake her up or move position.
I found some of her responses unprofessional when this was supposed to be a beautiful experience (regardless of the placement of my placenta, if my baby was sleeping etc). Towards the end when booking another session, I asked if it was worth attending since my work schedule could only accommodate a session at 35/36 weeks because from my understanding as she was explaining, the longer we wait, the harder it can be to get pictures because of how limited space is in the womb - but not impossible. Chandra consistently responded with "whatever" "whatever, you can try" and was extremely dismissive which left me uneasy about wanting to attend my next session. I didn't even know how to respond to "whatever" especially how the receptionist was asking Chandra from the other room if I should still book considering I'm further along and that's when Chandra shouted that response while guests were in the waiting room....
Lastly, the only reason to why I am giving Babymoon 2 stars is because despite not being able to get a clear image of my baby, they did offer to reschedule me to try again but I will not be attending my session. Since this let down, I talked to my girlfriend who went to Prenatal Sneak Peek and I was fortunate to book a session shortly after my Babymoon experience and had an amazing session.
Love love love!! Had the best experience!! Our ultrasound tech was so friendly and made the experience so fun! We got to find out the gender of our baby. It was an experience that we will treasure forever!! Thank you Babymoon!!
Have been to Babymoon a couple times and cannot recommend them enough. All of the staff have been super friendly, very knowledgeable and have gone above and beyond for us and our first baby.
This last time we went for the gender determination (its a girl!!) But she was very stubborn and had her back to us the entire time, she looked like a little alien trying to get out!. They so very graciously said we could come back in again for FREE to get better pictures and videos. Super grateful for this! We just love seeing her!
We love that they are open late some nights which is perfect for us so we don't miss too much work.
Late review, but me and my wife went here on March 9, 2024. We had an amazing experience! Forgive me, but I don't know the names of the 2 ladies that were there at that time, but they were more than accommodating, and were able to squeeze us in before they closed for the day. 10/10, would recommend!
Super awesome and nice staff, place is clean and cute, very calming, will definitely go again
