We had our first dining experience at Bailey’s during a business dinner meeting on a Saturday night. The restaurant itself gives off an elegant and inviting atmosphere — warm lighting, tasteful interiors, and an overall sophisticated vibe as we were led to our seats on the second floor.
However, the evening turned out to be underwhelming. The place was fully packed, which we understand given it was a weekend, but the air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool, leaving us feeling quite uncomfortable throughout the meal.
We started with appetizers — calamari and bruschetta — but unfortunately, neither stood out in terms of taste or quality. For drinks, one of us ordered the Peach and Cream cocktail, which leaned far too heavy on the milk and lacked any noticeable kick from the alcohol.
For the main course, things didn’t improve. The steak was not prepared to expectation, and the Cajun snapper came out too dry. At this point, the group was noticeably disappointed, not just because of the food, but more so due to the service.
Service was a major letdown. There were only three waiters attending to the entire second floor, which clearly wasn’t enough given the volume of diners. We waited over 40 minutes for almost every order, and it was evident that the staff were overwhelmed. It seems the management had underestimated the number of staff needed for a fully booked night — a crucial oversight that greatly affected the dining experience.
On a positive note, the seafood chowder and French onion soup were both delicious and well-prepared. One of our colleagues also enjoyed the Mediterranean seafood dish, which was a small saving grace for the evening.
Overall, while Bailey’s offers a beautiful setting and ambiance, the experience left much to be desired in terms of food quality and service efficiency. It’s a place with potential, but definitely needs improvement in both kitchen execution and customer service management, especially on their busiest nights.
Best steak in town for sure, Hy’s & Keg are not even comparable.
Ordered Aged Prime beef set and Rib eye 10z, they are very tender, juicy, not dry at all, very beefy as well. Rib eye steak was well charred but very pinky in the middle.
No need to mention about the restaurant and the service, absolutely 10/10.
Only thing I wanna be picky is the onion soup, very tasty but too much bread and cheese, barely have any soup to have in that small bowl.
Great place to dine and be merry. I got the filet and salad and I believe we got every dessert on the menu 😂 They cut their steaks fresh from Canada 🇨🇦 You know you’re American when you think 🤔 this steak could have a pinch of more flavor #salt #americans #americansbeingpoisoned
Thank you Baileys!!! Special attention to the MOST amazing waiter Hiro ♥️. We had my Fathers Celebration of Life there over the February Holiday Weekend - the detail to service, accommodations to our ever changing requests and delicious food made this a “Night for the Memories’ - thank you Baileys ♥️♥️
Food was good. I had the escargot and smoked salmon for starters and I ordered the MEDALLIONS OF BEEF MARCHAND DE VIN for dinner, it was delicious, unfortunately I asked for rice and got lemon potatoes. I didn't bother to correct the order with the waiter as the potatoes were good. The house salad had way too much dressing dolloped on it, but it was good dressing. I also got a free slice of cheesecake as we were celebrating my birthday. Our waiter was great said he had been there over 30 years and suggested meals. The only complaint would be that we heard another waiter/waitress arguing and swearing about tables they wanted to serve. Unpleasant to hear in the middle of the dinning area especially with my young child with me. Not sure if I would go back, but it was a nice to try it out.
