The largest Ambassador Banquet & Conference function room accommodating up to 300 people is located on our lower floor level with its own reception space, coat check and washrooms. This area is accessible via our elevator or our staircase.
Our Ambassador Banquet & Conference Centre menu provides a full selection and range of possibilities from the basic coffee service to our gala banquet menus for 3, 4 or 5-course dinners. For those with special requests, our Executive Chef will build the menu to meet your requirements.
The function rooms are equipped with high speed Internet access and telephone lines complete with controlled lights providing flexibility of use. The hotel can provide audiovisual equipment, dance floor sections, head tables as required.
For a unique venue try our Celebrations Dinner Theatre, ideal for those gala banquet events, themed business meetings with feature presentations. This room is located on our main floor level and is an excellent venue when tiered seating is required.

My family and I had a wonderful time at this hotel. We've been here before and it's always super clean. The water park is fantastic fun for the whole family, as long as everyone falls the rules. Would be nice if they would upkeep the water slide a little bit more as some of the joints are a little rough for us bigger dads lol. Turn down service was a little slow on our second night, they didn't get to our room till about 5:00 p.m.. that being said, every staff member I dealt with was incredibly polite and professional we will definitely be coming back. So far out of all the Canad inn locations in Winnipeg that we've stayed at this one is by far the cleanest.

Honestly, the best thing about this hotel was its location. Right when we got there, we were given second floor, which is perfectly fine, but their elevator wasn’t working. The front desk person claimed it was being fixed now and that it shouldn’t be out of order for much longer. It ended up staying out of order our entire stay.
We got into the room, it smelt like someone just used the bathroom, and we called to complain. Their solution was to have housekeeping come up and spray air freshener. The maintenance guy came up first and claimed he smelt nothing, I guess their rooms just smell gross normally? Once the air freshener faded the smell just came back.
Our shower also wouldn’t get warm. It was late when we tried to shower, so we ended up not complaining. It got warmer in the morning though? So I’m unsure if they were just running out of hot water or something.
I know a Canada inn is known for having kids, but oh my gosh, we had kids knocking at our door for hours until security came and got them. It was ridiculous, but nothing against the hotel on that part. Just thought it’s a good thing to take note of.

Location is good, close to many places and easy to get around. The room was okay, the jets in the tub didn’t seem like they’d been cleaned. The light fixtures didn’t seem to attached to the wall properly, one of them was almost falling off. Room smelt funny as well. The shower seemed temperamental…
The elevator seemed very sketchy, was very clunky, was nervous it’d breakdown.
Was pretty noisy as well it the hallways during the “quiet time”
Heard people or kids (couldn’t tell) screaming etc.

We had a rough experience here. Booked a couple rooms for a night with some family for our kids to play in the pool and waterslide.
Rarely any towels in the pool area and the chlorine in the pool was so off balance that everyone in the pool area was coughing and felt like their throats were burning.
Even saw one kid there coughing so hard he threw up on the floor.
Really ruined the kids experience there.
We went for breakfast at Aalto’s and it took almost an hour to get our orders. Not a good experience there but it wasn’t really the staffs fault. Very understaffed. They were pleasant in dealing with us but they need to do a better job.
The rooms we stayed in were “renovated” but the renovations lack any character or life. Kind of feels like staying in an office that was turned into hotel rooms.
Some Canad Inns locations are great. Portage La Prairie, awesome, not this one.

Terrible Service at Altos in Canad Inns Pembina, Winnipeg!
Don’t bother going to Canad Inns on Pembina! We ordered breakfast at 7:40 AM and had to wait for an hour. (They did not hear any complaints from us.) When our food finally arrived, the order was WRONG! I specifically asked for white toast, but that’s not what I got. Yes, it’s just a simple toast, but it is still an order they have to serve correctly. I told the server, a lady in black, and she said she’d fix it.
Guess what? After a couple of minutes, she passed by my table carrying some order and a plate of white toast. So when she came back, I asked about my toast. She told me that I just need to wait for 30 seconds and then dropped the toast on my table. So rude and unprofessional! No apology, no courtesy. She’s a RACIST! I’ve never experienced service this bad. Completely unacceptable. Some of the group were also complaining about her behaviour.
