Here for the Jerky! Widest variety and availability of products. Best jerky I have had in Winnipeg. 4 Alarm is the bomb! This place is a must stop for carnivore's big time... Updating this, if you buy something or special order DO NOT ACCEPT PRODUCT WRAPPED UNLESS YOU INSPECT FIRST Onsite manager(or so I was told) talked around issue for custom order T-bones and was indifferent to accepting any responsibility for the issue...

We have spent and bought tons of jerky, cold cuts and other things from this store over the past year. We especially really liked the beef jerky- we loved trying all the different options they had available- with trying almost all of them. While the beef jerky was a bit pricey we loved supporting locally and even though we no longer lived in transcona we would make a trip every now and then to get a weekend snack. However, we will not be coming back after our most recent encounter with them over the phone. As we bought beef jerky early this week from them about $50 in just jerky with $30 of that going moldy 4 days later. We always keep our jerky in a dark pantry cabinet and usually will throw it in the fridge if we cannot consume it all within 5-7 days. However, I phoned to let them know about the moldy jerky and the man on the phone was not only extremely rude but also condescending. He didn't want to provide any remedy to the situation and just kept stating how obvious it would be to take it out of the bag they sell it to you in. I have bought from here over 6 or 7 times and not one time had anyone ever mentioned this. Friends of mine who also come here have said they never would have thought to take it out of the bag. Maybe a warning in the future would be nice but this man does not know how to speak kindly to customers. Not even going to bother coming and showing the jerky when he clearly sounded like there was nothing he wanted or could do.
