Incredible peaceful property and location. I have attended last year's Fall retreat, and participated in the market on Thursdays. The owners Elaine and her husband have become like family. Great place for weddings and events. Very sacred energy too.

Beyond rude. I would give zero stars if I could, here's why. So back in May 2019, my wife was VERY interested in getting married here, as we both grew up in the area. And, despite the outrageous prices they wanted for a hall that doesn't even have heat, I was going to bite the bullet and oblige her. After a few messages sent back and forth between my wife and the woman who responded to the email provided on the website, a date and time was booked to view the hall. My wife and I showed up, but we were the only ones. No sign of anyone else. After over an hour of waiting, we gave up and left, expecting to hear back from her with an apology and an explanation, along with a new date and time to view the hall...nothing. Luckily for me, she never did get back to us, as we ended up booking a more modern venue in the area for WAY less. I'm only sharing our negative experience as a precaution, as I hope this never has, or ever will happen to anyone else.

There was NO "miscommunication". We have all the texts and emails and they just stopped responding.

This is an amazing, well run venue. The weather was a challenge. Rain that sprinkled with thunder booming in the distance. Fickle weather that provoked fickle decision making, but the owners stayed the course. Loading and unloading the arches, taking a stand against the storm, drying off chairs and at just the right time the sun came out!
This place is a place where miracles can happen and do!

I performed here on Saturday, Shane The DJ of Topps Music Service, for a wedding and the atmosphere was great, the food was fabulous and it had good parking and floor space, i would recommend it for a country style wedding or event venue.
Farmers Hall is located on Highway 231, 2 miles west of Highway 8 in the RM of Gimli, Manitoba.
