This community center slightly tucked away in the south end of the city. There for not many are familiar of its existence. This might not be entirely bad. For this reason it doesn't seem to be very busy. Giving you a healthy amount of privacy.
This park has a massive amount of green space. Makes it ideal for dog owners. It also has a full size track, baseball field, play structure, and many other amenities.
I definitely look forward to returning soon again.
Great place for skating and hockey,on the coldest days this winter, there was still kids playing hockey and having regular seasonal games, excellent Community Club
Safe. We come for the skate park. Older kids are generally tolerant of the smaller ones. Great ball diamonds, lots of areas to work out. Cell service is sometimes non-existent.
I honestly didn't even know this place existed until a friend asked to meet there. Ice was a little chippy and bumpy, and the clubhouse wasn't the cleanest. Aside from that though it was a great experience. I realized that most of these types of ranks are volunteer run, so you can excuse a little bit of mess and imperfect ice quality.

The site facilities are available to be rented out for private events, recreational classes, meetings, clubs, fitness classes, and more. The hall capacity is 120, with a seated capacity of 96. You can decorate the rental space, or for a little extra we can take care of it for you! We just require that you clean up all the debris after the event. The Victoria location has a foosball table and projector (no screen) available for use during your rental.
Went here for a social, has 2 bathrooms for each gender, so not a long wait. Somewhat smaller than other community centers, but doesn't feel cramped, has more of a cozy feeling. For hosting events it has a canteen bar and a kitchen, as well as a large hall and a smaller side hall
The Fort Garry Community Centre (FGCC) has been serving Winnipeg’s Fort Garry area since 2009
