Nothing like a Reuben for lunch especially when it's made properly. Lately I've had them just toasted and the corned beef is still cold. Nope! Nice grilled rye and meat just off the flat top, that's what 4 Crowns delivers. Along with crispy fries and thick gravy and a very attentive wait staff, if you have not tried them out, give it a go. And they have a large menu and breakie too!!
Good food great selection. I had the double jerk chicken burger. Very inconsistent. 1 patty was great the other seemed old and dry like it was left out for hours. Decent service very friendly staff.
Had 3 kinds of wings which were overcooked and dried out! The dry ribs were also overcooked but inedible! Should have sent those back and taken off of our bill! The skinny fries are too skinny, like eating sticks, gravy was tasty and thick which is how we like it, the nachos were decent. The atmosphere is fine and our server was awesome!
If ya like a burger type menu then you’re good. Didn’t really have any good “dishes”. Will say was the cheapest place I’ve gone to eat with a friend. We like to check out a different place each time we go out.
I arranged for 4 friends to meet my partner and I at Four Crowns for 6pm on Thursday, January 23, 2025, to celebrate his birthday.
My partner regularly goes on wing night with clients or friends and recommended it. Three of us at the table had never been before.
We arrived around 6:15pm and were seated quickly. The bar wasn’t overly full and when our waitress arrived, we ordered drinks and one of our friends ordered nachos while we waited for the other couple to show up. The nachos took longer than expected, but we weren’t in a rush. Once everyone was there, we all ordered – two of us meals and the two of the guys, including my husband, ordered wings (each ordered 2 lbs with different sauces). Our food took a very long time to get to our table. I received my meal first, along with one of the guy’s wings (which we later found out was the wrong order and belonged to someone else). My fries were not hot but I was hungry so started eating them, expecting the rest of the tables meals to arrive in the next few minutes. It took another 15 to 20 minutes for the next meal to arrive. From there, there were still 2 people at our table, who ordered 2 lbs of wings each, that hadn’t received their food. Finally the next person received their wings. It took over an hour for the final person to get his food. We kept asking the waitress during this time when the rest of the meals would be brought out and she kept saying she would check then wouldn’t come back to us. In the meantime, another table that arrived after us and they had their wings brought out multiple times before our entire table even had their meal. It was awkward and upsetting for my partner who had recommended going to Four Crowns and by the time the last person got their food, we were all finished eating and ready to leave. The waitress had to be flagged down 3 more times for bills, and I wasn’t even able to get mine from her because she disappeared again. I asked another waitress if she could bring my bill and paid for my partner and I through her.
This whole experience was baffling as it was wing night, other people were getting their food and it wasn’t very busy, but our table of six seemed to be forgotten, with no service, cold food, late food, wrong food, and very slow service for additional drinks.
Unfortunately, the people at the table who had never been before were turned off and won't be back. We also sent emails and a message to the restaurant regarding the service and never heard back. Too bad, it would have been a nice local spot to go to more regularly but I won't be back.
We are simply willing to go the extra mile to make your event memorable.
