We had a wonderful time at the Children’s Museum in Winnipeg! It’s a bright, creative, and hands-on space perfect for kids to explore, learn, and burn off energy.
One of our daughter’s favorite areas was the food-themed tunnel and climbing zone — fun, colorful, and safe. The exhibits are engaging without being overwhelming, and there’s plenty of room for kids of different ages to play at their own pace.
The staff were friendly, and the environment was clean and well-maintained. I also appreciated the thoughtful details like seating areas for parents and clear signage in English and French.
It’s definitely a must-visit for families in Winnipeg or anyone visiting with young children. Plan to spend at least 1.5 to 2 hours — the kids won’t want to leave!

I volunteered for my child's classroom. I would highly recommend this. It is totally fun. I really enjoyed it with all the kids. And the activities that they have totally awesome,
Be sure to bring your child a change of clothes as the water play area will likely make them soaked. They offer free parking with the purchase of tickets so be sure to take a picture of your license plate and not pay to park before going inside.
Took my 16 month old for the morning and they had SOOOO much fun. The exhibits were so engaging and developmentally appropriate. The only negative was a family of children who's parent was sitting working on their computer and not accompanying their children. So his children decided to follow us around all day with one of his boys pushing my daughter and taking her toys from her. I eventually told the staff and the family left thank goodness. The eldest daughter was watching the children and she was doing her best bust the brothers were not listening at all. I recommend taking your children here but please remember to accompany your children as an 8 year old should not be pushing babys and taking their toys.
I came here with my family and my son loved the water center area and the pedestrian/traffic light area. Very reasonable pricing and friendly staff. An awesome place to bring kids!
