If you live in the area, this is a great meat/grocery store to shop! It could easily become your one stop shop for food. The bacon here is unlike the ones sold at Superstore or other large stores - the bacon at millers is amazing and they’re well priced! Variety of meats and cheese! Stop by if you can. Oh! They carry various local brands of honey! Can’t go wrong with that one.

Bought 2 T-bone steaks and when unpacked it at home it has sour smell and weird coloured spots on meat. I can conclude that the freshness of the meat leaves much to be desired, to put it mildly.

Mothers Day- one tenderloin was grey/brown/green and slimy and the other wasn’t much better. Tenderloins were individually wrapped with big stickers on them so you can’t tell. No other fresh meat was presented this way. Striploin looked okay. Won’t be returning the meat nor will I be returning my business.

Normally I get good steaks from here but not this time. Beef tenderloin does not need to be trimmed like this. We purchase around $500 dollars of tenderloin a week and should not get this. We now will continue to purchase from our regular butcher in Dugald can’t go wrong there.

Ive been going to millers meats for a few years now, usually at the St. Mary’s location but recently switched over to this one. But, I just wanted to write a review for them because I have gotten atleast 4 customers going to them for their orders because of the way I spoke about them. They’re convenient for pick up upon orders. Their orders can be customizable which is definitely a perk for me. Their staff is friendly, the store is normally packed but moves pretty quickly. The fact that they have a lot of customers should say something. A must try for me is the pepperoni sticks they usually have hanging. :) always gotta grab some when I’m there. :)

So I got 3 lbs of wings from there and not that I had an issue with the quantity but the fact that it had 3 wings and 25 drumies. The quality is always great but even a 3-1 ratio would have been nice. Sucker I am went back a second time. 3lbs. 34 total and 8 wings. Fool me once, fool me twice, I’m an idiot. Definition of insanity??? St Mary’s location is way better.

Asked for 3lbs of meat to be sliced. Told I need to give 1-2 days. No one in the store at that time. I replied to the staff member it was done two weeks prior and I didn't call in. He replied with ok 20 minutes it will be done. Then a few people walked in and told 1 hour.. I couldn't even have an actual conversation with the guy he kept walking away from me until I paid for my other items. I was not sold the 3lbs! I do not have and issue about waiting or giving proper time. My last experience was great! Today's made me say to myself I'll never go back and wrote this review. Thanks.

I visit this place at least twice a week and it never disappoints. The staff is some of the friendliest and most welcoming I've encountered, making each visit a pleasure. The selection of products is fantastic, with a wide variety of high-quality items to choose from. Whether I'm picking up something for the grill or browsing the weekly specials, the quality is always top-notch. It's become my go-to spot after work to grab everything I need for a great BBQ. I highly recommend making this place a regular stop for some of your grocery needs!

we purchased meat from grant location every payday for delivery. The last 3-4 months has been a hit or miss weather we get fresh meat mostly deli or beef, ground beef and/or chicken parts that may or may not be on the verge of being tainted meat. The last few times we have ordered from the grant location we received tainted meat. We made a roast in the slow cooker tonight and it tasted like soap! Nothing else made from the stove top tasted like SOAP just what was cooked in the slow cooker. The only thing I know that can cause beef to taste soapy is tainted meat or Calcium chloride Which is safe to ingest within reason (This chemical can increase the soapy flavor of beef) Calcium chloride is used in beef to improve tenderness. It's applied to beef by injecting it into the meat or marinating it in a calcium chloride solution or to make old stringy beef that’s tough into a tender Roast. But if to much is used you get a mouth full of soapy tasting beef. Now I am NOT accusing millers of this practice. I am just informing folks why beef could taste like soap. For this reason, I think it is time to change locations. we shopped at the Miller meats on St. Mary’s road and have never had any issues before we started to receive deliveries from grant location. this grant one has been less than Steller. If the order is not wrong the meat is on the verge of spoiling or is spoiled. My wife and I are done with this location and moving on, its to bad the only store that offers delivery is the worst of the bunch! I hope they solve this issue or other locations start delivery, we are both seniors which makes it hard for us to go out and shop most of the time. But I think we will have to shop at Saint Mary’s road ourselves since the grant location seems to be unable to deliver good fresh meat.

High quality meats, at fair prices. Always efficient, friendly, knowledgeable staff, at all 4 Winnipeg locations. My go-to place for thin-sliced bacon, lots of lean, very little fat. Good specials on sausages, etc. Only place in Winnipeg I know of where I can get "Slap Ya Mama" seasoning spice from Louisiana.

Wow. Bought some bad meat ( never happened before here in years). I brought it back discretely the next day and the woman was curt and on the wrong side of the border between civil and rude. If I sell something bad, I would apologize and be polite. Most unfortunate.

I have gone to this location for their whiskey dry agre steaks, and let me tell you folks, absolutely UNBELIEVABLE taste and quality, if youve never tried and are a steak lover i HIGHLY recommend you treat yourself to one atleast once, youll never want to go back to a regular steak ever again! And the service at this location is excellent. 11/10 for this butcher shop.

Unbelievable customer service and some of the best quality meats. Today I bought the boneless chicken thighs and the fresh hamburger patties. The chicken was probably the best I've ever had. So tender and juicey. The hamburgers also are superior and seasoned perfectly.

We shop at the headmaster location. We have only ever had an issue once over the years of shopping here and the owner/manager addressed it right away with an amazing level of customer service. The staff are always running, getting customers looked after, and anytime we are there, they are completely customer focused. Good quality meat, great specials. Placing online orders is easy and when you pick up your order, it's been vacuum sealed and ready for the freezer!

Great place to buy steaks , only 4 stars because i find im paying LOTS to get LOTS of FAT on the cuts and impossible to know which cuts to buy on sale for the day without a phone call to find out ... If I ran the store, I would post it online DAILY .
