Arena is very old and is freezing inside. Went for a hockey tournament and every kid from every team had to wear a hoodie under their jerseys.
Decent rink for an old barn.
Located in the village of Oakville off the trans Canada highway, nestled in between Portage and Winnipeg. There sits an older structure built back in the mid 1960's. Lots of history in the Old Barn. The community of Oakville has always been active in the winter sport of hockey and figure skating. Rink has artifical ice a heated viewing area to the ice surface with a full service canteen available
Great place to be. Volunteers and staff are amazing people. Definitely part of a great community.
Great arena for all your ice requirements!
Home of the Oakville Seals, the Oakville Skating Arena’s artificial ice has an extended season of late October to March. The arena can also be rented outside of ice season for such things as weddings, sports, and parties.
