We love this place for activities all year round! The park, the skating path, the rec center activities - it’s a great place!

Winter facilities include two well-maintained outdoor rinks and a large warming shelter. Behind the rinks is a man- made tobaggan slide and iced oval. We are lucky to have this in Headingley!

Great place!
The Phoenix Community Centre is situated in the heart of the Headingley south hamlet. Phoenix is our original community centre built many years ago but is still used extensively by our community recreation groups. Although we do not use this centre to facilitate weddings and large events, it is still used to hold small wedding showers, birthdays and family events.
