Sure the store is a little crowded, but you have to remember that this is an old business and the quality of the meats are superb. I picked up two racks of short ribs at $24.99kg and they are a nice 7” long rib and really good cut.

There only place I'll buy garlic, buckwheat and blood sausages. Their coarse garlic sausage is the best in the city (and I've tried many others). They also carry quite a variety of European foods and desserts. Check them out, you won't be disappointed!!

When I first arrived at this store, there was this awful smell in the air, and I mean really awful smell, it felt like a landfill was near by. I was hesitant leaving the car. When we entered the store we were glad that it was not actually coming from the inside of this meatshop. Must've been the location and I was surprised that no one mentioned that in their reviews.
Besides that It's a really Great meat shop with a large variety of Central/Eastern European food. Lots of imported Polish, German, and Ukrainian goodies. You must do your groceries here at least once.
Give it a try you might find some foods that you never had before.

I have been going here for years. The quality of meat is amazing . They bring in specialty items from various countries and different parts of Canada. They recently started carrying grizzly Paul soda which is only available in Alberta. The customer service is always above and beyond. I highly recommend them anytime .
