My stay with my girlfriend at South Beach was very enjoyable. I was really impressed with the facility. We had won a Stay and Play package and decided to give it a try, very glad we did. The hotel is very clean and the service was very good. The restaurant and lounge were both enjoyable with lots of food choices (the buffet was exceptional). We got to experience the casino and had some fun at the slots (even though neither of us are gamblers) The location is a bit of a drive to get to from Winnipeg but once there we found lots to do within a short drive of the hotel. At the hotel we used the pool area both days we stayed, it was nice and relaxing and very clean. The fitness centre was nice also and not to busy when we went. Overall we had a great stay and will be coming back in the future!

I went to the Blue Dolphin lounge two nights in a row to enjoy wings, beer and NHL hockey. Both nights I was served flat beer, from a keg. Friday night, I ordered a Michelob on tap. I sent the beer back due to being flat. The main bar tender told me she changed the keg in the morning. Guess she worked a double because I was there in the evening. Second night, Saturday, I ordered Granville island on tap. Which is the photo I shared. Sadly this beer was flat as well. Lack bar tending skills, dirty bar. Didn’t clean when others left after.

My recent day was for two nights for networking conference, I use the sauna and the hot tub during the adult. and it was really nice. It would’ve been nice if the lounge staff would serve the gaming tables more regularly, while playing at the Roulette table, I had to clear off all of the empty drinks from other players if I didn’t want them in front of me for the whole evening. I also remember years ago, maybe 18 years ago when I used to work in the lounge, the slot attendants used to serve drinks to the slot players. I don’t know if this is a thing of the past, but they used to earn pretty decent tips doing so, a lot of people with mobility challenges I’m sure would appreciate that or if they don’t want to leave the machine to get a drink. This was on the evening of February 6, 2025.

Went to Casino snd lounge for lunch. Great friendly and welcoming staff as opposed to other Winnipeg Casinos. Shared chicken fingers that were awesome. Went on a Thursday and the Casino was very empty...unusual for 10 x points day. Reason could be the machines are very tight...got a bonus and payout less than 5.00... Time to loosen the machines if you want more people coming to play.

My first time here at the south beach resort casino and already I feel like it’s my second home. Let me tell you why, I’m not trying to bring out anything negative but being a First Nation we face challenges everywhere, sometimes you fear of going to new places, fear that maybe you’ll face another racial discrimination. Imagine my surprise when I stepped into this fabulous clean, over friendly resort and you get treated like you are on a first class resort! Top of the world, maybe I am exaggerating a bit but I can’t help but to describe the resort as such. The restaurant, which I highly recommend is another remarkable place of the resort, the dinning which has the top service and the endless delicious menu’s and deserts are as sure to keep you feeling full. I quickly made a new friend from the restaurant, Miss. Cher and her staff, thank you for making my visit there such pleasure and comforting. In my language I say, Gitch Meegwetch! Which means Thank you so much.
