Had booked a birthday party for grandma's 100th and John honored it even though his help unexpectedly was hospitalized. Food was top notch and affordable. The place is clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy but I do recommend strongly.

My husband loved his experience at the restaurant with John. He talked about him all the way home.
Worth the drive, definitely headed back again in the near future.

The food was good but the service was very slow because either a server didn't show up or there isn't one. Another restaurant patron started serving to help the cook.
The water is also salty tasting in Crystal City, so keep that in mind while ordering. The homemade soup was really good, but salty.
