Such an amazing and delicious place. The interior defiantly felt very comforting and the servers were welcoming and amazing. It’s a little dim inside which give it that nice feel. I ordered the Spaghetti and Meat Balls and man do I recommend it. I also recommend the mushroom and cheese soup. The calamari was crisp and amazing. I defiantly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely return to have a meal here. Pricing is very affordable.
I recently visited The Old Spaghetti Factory and had an amazing experience! From the unlimited sourdough bread with garlic butter to the perfectly cooked pasta, everything was spot on. The flavors were rich and comforting, and the portions generous. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and full of charm—giving true Italian vibes. A must-visit for anyone who loves hearty food and cozy, feel-good dining!
Ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and we were given the option for either salad or fries.
Opted in for the fries and it was rich in flavour - great pair.
Service was great and fast - our waiter even recommend any nearby places to hit up afterwards.
Ambiance was also great.
Was deeply disappointed in my experience at the Old Spaghetti Factory. The food was great but the service was absolutely abysmal.
My husband was gifted a couple gift cards so we made a date of it. To start off the 3 hostesses at the front were rude, one said "you can come with me" while looking right at me so I had assumed she was talking to us and she snapped "Not you", the other two snickered and one asked if I was waiting for something to which I replied "to be seated?" We were then seated at a table on the far corner of the restaurant beside 2 very loud parties, the table itself was rickety and wiggled every time one of us moved. The food was good, but definitely not worth the pricetag. Our waitress ended up forgetting about us so it took almost an hour before we went to the front to ask for our bill.
Ive been back a few times recently and not bad great service usually. Steak was cold today not great and I find the French onion is always over salted.
I’ve been going to the old spaghetti factory since it was at the other location. My grandparents had brought me for years. We just spread their ashes last weekend. And the service was decent. The spicy spaghetti was way too hot! It was noted by the waitress that staff had mentioned that lately it had been way too hot. I ate one meatball a couple of noodles. I said I couldn’t eat it. It was too hot. It was not replaced with something else. I was brought a to go container and I put it in there thinking why even bother because it’s too hot for me to eat. I just left it. I talk to the manager upon leaving so this wouldn’t happen to other customers. I was offered a gift certificate or a replacement meal, by management but we were leaving and I did not have time. Sad experience hopefully it helps other customers if they experience the same management maybe will take care of it quicker! Sadly, a long time customer I will be back to review another day! French onion was salty. Bread was fresh and hot. The regular childhood memories spot this time has let me down. And I drove out of my way from the west side of the city just to go eat there and I don’t live in Winnipeg. Parking on the weekend was not ideal Even the handicap spots full.
