Nice community center, big open gym with even flooring, kitchen, coat rack, tables and chairs. Has indoor gendered washrooms and a water fountain.
Downside, sometimes they don't turn on the motion sensor lights for the washrooms, so it gets very dark in the washrooms without lights.
#PegCityContra dancing public community dance group meets every 2nd Saturday of the month 7:30pm-9:30pm at 1315 Strathcona. Admission by donation, everyone is welcome! Family friendly dances.

Just had the craziest experience. We were playing in the HUGE field, 4 adults and 4 kids. A old guy on a riding lawnmower comes out and we figure we have some time to wrap up our playing and get off the field. NO…this friggin guy made a beeline straight for our kids on the riding mower and basically chased them off the field. So unsafe and scary for us.

This is the home of Valour Historical European Martial Arts Academy that meets on Monday nights. The facility is smaller but very nice overall with a decent sized gym that works well for fencing. Valour Community Centres has been great to deal with and I know they have a lot of good programs for adults and youth.

Community centre featuring two outdoor hockey rinks, soccer fields, softball diamonds, outdoor basketball court, indoor basketball court, wading pool, and play structure. Available for rent. Very popular spot for parties, showers, celebrations, socials.
Our Clifton site is the most popular venue for private functions. It features a full-service kitchen, a bar area, and ample tables and seating. The capacity of the Clifton hall is 210 people.
