Come here for the food, drinks, student culture, and by occasion sporting events and to hang out. I used to visit the Hub, and formerly when it was Wise Guys, every now and then when I was a student. Cozy modern bar with TVs and some pool tables as well.

Okay priced food with good drink selection and great staff, food was tasteless and dry but overall okay.

We went here to try the 2019 Burger Week burger, the Hot Mess. At first we asked the waitress if we could have the egg cooked over-hard, she went to the back and came back out and told us no. We then asked if we could just not have the egg on it, and again was told no, and there was no modifications allowed for the burger. We spoke with the manager and he went and told the chef to fully cook the egg so the yolk wasn't runny.
When we got the burger, we had to put it on its side and eat it layer by layer, which seemed to work. That was until we got to the actual burger patty. I sliced into it, over the rest of the burger, so the mac and cheese and the grilled cheese on the bottom, and the patty wasn't fully cooked. It was pretty pink throughout and it grossed us out, so we sent it back and the manager did end up comping the meal for us without much trouble, which is the reason for the 2 stars.
So in the end, the chef that didn't want to fully cook the egg, wasn't able to fully cook the actual hamburger.

Love this place, one of my fav in city to hangout with your friends and party. The booze is always cheap compared to all other pubs in the city. Food and specials are too good, best value for both food and booze. Wednesday nights are packed, you get beer for $2 🕺
