Seen some amazing acts, Theory of a Deadman, Serena Ryder, Stampeders, Sheepdogs, Johnny Reid, Jann Arden, Tom Jackson, Derek Edwards (bucket list comedian) musicals by Mecca, Crocus, Neelin, and Vincent Massey, and so much more. Check out the website for what's coming up.
We saw Derek Edwards show and the audio was terrible. The person who introduced Derek was clearly audible. When Mr. Edwards started speaking we had serious trouble understanding him. A woman in the audience shouted and asked him to turn up the volume. I think he took that as an insult, which I'm sure wasn't. Derek Edwards had a hilarious show. Too bad I missed many of the punchlines. We were in the front row and the sound seemed distant and muffled.
The kids Mecca performances are there and it's okay. Not the best parking for large events. It's always clean and ready for a crowd for an entertaining show
Watched a dance production, seats were amazingly comfortable - lots of leg room...don't feel like a sardine! Sound and lighting was marvelous! Only complaint would be the washroom facilities need to be seriously expanded on the main floor! A few stalls for females during a short intermission is not working!
The auditorium is very nice - good sound, sight lines and so on. My only complaint is that there should be a couple dividing aisles, or at least a centre aisle. Having to walk to the centre from the outside is inconvenient and in the case of an emergency could be dangerous.
We are pleased to offer a welcoming accessible facility for corporate events and meetings, conferences, speaker presentations, trade shows, fundraising events and private rentals.
