Excellent experience going to the store front. Definitely a local tradition with amazing history inside the building(mural) and outside. Quality and yummy products that has been shared for generations!

Walked in for the first time and saw two staff members behind the counter. They didn't even look at me when I walked in, so I said "hello". I was the only customer there and received a reply of "hello". I stood there for a minute expecting some sort of service, but didn't get anything, not even a glance. I asked for Bison smokies and the staff member just said over there and pointed to where a bunch of refrigeradores are. I went and looked and didn't see any and came back and told them that I didn't see any. The reply was that they must be out of them, so I left.
Terribly unwelcoming and not very friendly, I will never go back. I ended up going to Sausage Makers and Delicatessen on Nairin and recieved good service there, even though it was extremely busy.

Went in this morning to buy bacon.
Got there shortly after they opened and when I walked in I was a bit disappointed because it wasn't what I expected.
A bunch of guys talking that didn't look like they were there to buy anything.
So I walked over to the cooler grabbed some bacon and headed to the counter where I was informed cash or debit only.
So I have a virtual bank account that provides me with a MC that has also worked as a debit in several cases in the past.
When it didn't work she remarked rather rudely saying "I said we literally only take cash and debit!"
I asked if she knew of a bank machine close by and that seemed to be too much.
So I "Literally" didn't buy anything there and "literally" never will, "literally" LoL

Whenever I am in Winnipeg I stop here and load up! Absolutely the best hot dogs/bologna I’ve ever tried. Last trip in I tried a couple other sausages and they were unbelievably good as well.

For awhile now I’ve wanted to purchase WOC smokies, wieners but every time I read the ingredients I can’t. There are a lot of other competitors that produce a gluten free product, unfortunately not WOC, a company local to Winnipeg, my diet is gluten free not as a choice but for health reasons, there are a lot of individuals with the same autoimmune deficiency and diagnosed as celiac, when will this local company recognize this and produce a product without wheat? Very disappointing
