Great facility if you're looking for an all in one stop! Love that I can workout, play hockey/tennis/badminton/squash all under one roof. Easy place to spend hours at a time.
My wife and I were there tonight for a Christmas party and left after 45 minutes. The room was so hot that we were sweating, literally beads of sweat on our foreheads. We went outside a few times to try to cool down, told staff at the venue, but nothing changed. Numerous other people in attendance felt the same, so we just decided to leave and didn't even have dinner. It's really a shame.
Update! It's been weeks and not even an apology! Excellent customer service! If I could leave 0 stars I would.
I signed up for expensive pickleball group lessons. First lesson, there were more participants than there was room on the courts.
Then in week 5, 3 new people showed up with zero experience.
When I questioned this, I was told they could sign anyone up at anytime. A total waste of time and money. And no refund provided
Average facility. Didn’t really find it feasible at the price point of the memberships.
The Winnipeg Winter Club is a well-established and multi-faceted recreational facility in the city. My experiences at the club have been mixed, reflecting both its strengths and areas where there is room for improvement.
On the positive side, the Winnipeg Winter Club offers a wide range of amenities and activities. From fitness facilities and squash courts to dining options and social events, it caters to a diverse range of interests. The staff is generally friendly and accommodating, making it a welcoming place for members.
The club's commitment to fitness and wellness is evident, with well-maintained equipment and dedicated trainers available to assist with fitness goals. The variety of classes and programs is a plus for those seeking structured workouts.
However, some aspects could benefit from attention. The facility itself, while functional, may feel somewhat dated in terms of decor and layout. There have been occasional concerns about the cleanliness of certain areas.
Membership fees can be relatively high, which may not be accessible to everyone. Additionally, some members have mentioned that the club's policies and communication could be more transparent.
In summary, the Winnipeg Winter Club offers a range of amenities and services for those seeking recreation and fitness options. While it has its strengths, there are areas where updates and improvements could enhance the overall member experience.
I participated a couple of times as a guest in the business club. There was a great opportunity to meet people from different business areas. The lunch was always delicious, and the customer attention fantastic. The place is always clean, employees very friendly and there a lot of activities you can do like sports, meetings and recreation. I had to make a presentation, using a projector and a screen they have available, so the meeting was great. I'm going to be a member for sure!
